Marathon Madness

Welcome to Marathon Madness! An incremental game about the journey from a casual jogger to a marathon champion.

Core Mechanics

Tapping: Tap the shoe to run. This consumes Energy but generates Distance. Running out of energy? Hit the 'Rest' button to recover.

Auto-Runners: These are your bread and butter for passive income. Purchase and upgrade them in the 'Auto-Runners' tab to automatically gain distance over time.

Upgrades: In the 'Upgrades' tab, you can spend your earnings to boost your abilities, like increasing distance per tap or reducing rest time.

Currencies

• Distance (m): Your primary early-game currency, earned by tapping and from Auto-Runners.
• Money ($): Earned from Fans. The more fans you have, the more sponsorship money you get! Used for powerful mid-game purchases.
• Fans: You gain fans for every 100m of total distance you run. They are key to earning money.
• Medals (🏅): The prestige currency. Earned by completing a full marathon. Medals provide a permanent boost to all distance and money gains.

The Goal: The Marathon

Your main objective is to run 42.195km. Once you reach this total distance, the 'Enter Marathon' button will appear. Entering the marathon simulates the race based on your current speed. Finishing it will reward you with Medals.

After the marathon, you'll have the option to 'Prestige'. This will restart your progress (distance, money, generators, etc.) but you'll keep your hard-earned Medals, making each subsequent run much faster. Good luck!
